ARCHITECT: GIOTTO DI BONDONE (1334)

Giotto's free-standing Campanile stands next to Santa Margarita del Fiore in the Florebnce Cathedral complex on Piazza del Duomo, Florence.
It is known for it's rich Florentine Gothic Architecture and sculptuiral decorations as well as it's polychrome marble.
You almost have to be there in person to experience this impressive 277.9 ft tall structure.
